LONG TERM CARE ADMINISTRATOR

Health and Human Services Department – Barron Center – Search Extended - The City of Portland’s Health and Human Services Department is seeking a highly qualified Administrator for the Barron Center.  The Barron Center is a 219-bed long-term facility that provides skilled nursing and rehabilitation services to individuals in need.  We are a mission driven facility with over 200 years of history in our community with a commitment to providing our residents and families care that is supported by the highest order of compassion, integrity, accountability, and respect.  Successful candidates will be licensed in the state of Maine as a Multi-Level Administrator with proven leadership skills.  Must have a minimum of three (3) years of experience as a nursing home administrator or in a supervisory capacity in a health care setting. Knowledge of Medicare, MaineCare and Rehab services, as well as proven financial and human resources skills.  The Barron Center Administrator participates actively in long range planning with the Department Director and members of the Health and Human Services Management Team.  Offers of employment are contingent upon the completion of a satisfactory criminal background check. 

Salary range is $109,707 to $131,001/year.
