General Duties:
Performs data entry, customer service, security, and manual work involving the receipt, storage, and disposition of evidence or property (vehicles). Performs related duties as required (both indoors and outdoors).
 
Information About the Current Openings:
The Saint Paul Police Department Impound Lot is looking for temporary property clerks to work during the 2019-2020 snow emergency season (approximately October 15, 2019 to April 15, 2020).
 
Hours:
On call as needed for snow emergencies declared by the City of Saint Paul and on an irregular basis throughout the season.
Shifts vary (e.g. early mornings, days, nights, overnights) and include weekends and holidays to provide 24/7 coverage. Shift hours are negotiable.
 
Minimum Requirements:
A High School Diploma or General Education Development (GED) Certificate.
 
Must possess and maintain a valid Minnesota Class D Driver's License, or equivalent out-of-state driver's license. The driver's license must have no suspensions or revocations for driving-related offenses within the two year period prior to the date of appointment. Suspensions for parking-related offenses are excluded.
