SECRETARY - POLICE 

 

Location: Oshkosh, WI

Salary: This position is an hourly, non-exempt position, with a full benefits package. Compensation starts at $15.47 per hour. 

The City of Oshkosh, Wisconsin is searching for a full-time Secretary for the Police Department.  This position provides secretarial and clerical support to the Captains of the Administrative Bureau and Operations Bureau.  Performs varied clerical work of moderate difficulty, including operations that require the exercise of judgment based upon knowledge gained through experience.  Work decisions are made in accordance with established precedents and departmental policies.  

Qualified candidates will possess a High School Diploma or GED, with specialized course work in general office practices such as typing, general computer applications and filing. Candidates will also need two (2) years of increasingly responsible related experience and are required to possess and maintain a valid Driver's license.
