General Duties:
Missouri River Energy Services (MRES) is an organization of 61 member municipalities that own and operate their own electrical distribution systems.  Inspired by the company's mission to supply its members with reliable, cost-effective, long-term energy and energy services in a fiscally responsible and environmentally sensitive manner, members of the MRES team embrace the challenge of understanding and solving the evolving energy needs of all customers today, and for years to come.  We are looking for a highly motivated individual to join our IS team.
 
As a member of the Information Systems team, the Programmer Analyst position performs applications systems design and modification and programming of a routine to complex nature in support of MRES administrative and business services for multiple computer platform applications. You would be responsible for providing analysis, design, and implementation of strategy driven information systems and services in partnership with our user community.
 
Minimum Qualifications:
Candidate must have a bachelor's degree in computer science or related field with four years equivalent work experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Excellent communication and written skills, strong background in windows based application programming languages and .NET required and SQL Server, SSRS and SSIS background preferred.
