Part Time Patrol Officers


The Town of Dover-Foxcroft is seeking part-time patrol officers. Candidates must have completed Phase 1 and Phase 2 of the preservice training course. Candidate must be at least 21 years of age. (Officers who have completed the 240 course will be preferred.) 
Candidates will be expected to pass an extensive background investigation including polygraph. Work will begin at the completion of a field training course by our department. Fulltime certified officers with current valid law enforcement certificates are preferred. 
Duties include but are not limited to enforcement of applicable state and local laws, proactive crime prevention patrol of the town streets, traffic control, and local ordinances. 
Starting pay will be $15.21 an hour based on experience. (Officers with full time certifications will be offered a stipend of $1.00 per hour more.) All applicants must have a high school diploma or equivalent and must possess a valid driver's license with a good driving record.
