The City of Missouri City is seeking an Emergency Management Coordinator to serve a very diverse community with a high quality of life in the Houston metro area. Despite the size of its population, the city has the feel of a small close-knit community. Reporting to the Fire Chief, the Emergency Management Coordinator will be the Subject Matter Expert for the implementation, management, and continuous improvement of the City’s Emergency Management System. 

The ideal candidate will be an experienced and proven emergency management professional who brings a reputation of strategic thinking, community outreach, and organizational commitment. A Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of two years of professional experience are required.
