The Manager of Information Technology (IT) provides leadership, management, and guidance related to the strategic and operational components of information technology functions in alignment with the business objectives of the organization. This position will plan, coordinate, direct and design IT-related activities of the organization, as well as provide administrative direction and support for daily operational activities of the IT department. The position works closely with decision makers in other departments to identify, recommend, develop, implement and support cost-effective technology solutions for all aspects of the organization.
Responsibilities also include defining and implementing IT policies, procedures and best practices related to IT operations, governance and infrastructure.
Bachelor’s Degree required; Master’s Degree preferred. Minimum of five years’ experience in information technology management preferably in a public agency or similar environment.
